MODERATION

How Internet Court keeps verdicts fair and safe.

Who Can Be Nominated

Only public figures — celebrities, public creators, athletes, executives, companies, and public organizations with verifiable public presence. Private individuals may never be nominated.

Source Verification

Every nomination requires a link to the original publicly accessible source. Moderators verify that the source matches the nomination claim before approval.

Review Process

All nominations start in a pending state. Moderators review for accuracy, relevance, and rule compliance. Approved nominations enter the community support queue and may become daily polls.

Reports

Users may report nominations for harassment, misinformation, wrong source, duplicate, spam, unrelated content, or other concerns. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Removals

Nominations violating rules are removed immediately. Users who repeatedly submit violating content may be banned from nominations.

Appeals

If you believe a decision was incorrect, contact the moderation team with your reasoning. We review appeals within 72 hours.

Moderator Standards

Moderators are held to strict impartiality standards. No moderator may approve or reject a nomination where they have a personal interest.
